hi again guys ;D
I have a slight problem with some blocks not showing the content. I have a navigation bar in the top left of my forum. All i can see is Navigation with nothing under it, But another admin and member can see the list under it which should be showing. I have found out as i am using google chrome its not showing, But if i use internet explorer then it shows. So i presume this problem is because of my browser.
Is there anyway to fix this ? Or do i have to change internet browsers, I don't want to but not only is this a problem for me, but others wont realize this problem if they too are using google chrome.
Thanks
Chris...
Hi Chris,
Just installed google chrome to test this, and the block you mentioned is viewing as expected. See attached screengrab.
Tried it in IE8 / Firefox / And Chrome, and all working. The only thing I see missing is the facebook badge image from your facebook block (bottom left) But that's a facebook problem by the look of it.
Are you using a different theme when logged in?
Is your version of Chrome updated to latest build? 7.0.517.44
Hmm interesting, Yes i am using the newest update to google chrome.
I can see it in internet explorer but not in chrome :-\
Another member had the same problem too.
Chris,
Try clearing your browser cache in Chrome, closing the tab containing the site, and opening it back up. You might just be seeing a cached version of the blocks.

Ok that worked, Thanks Zar.
Can i just ask why does this happen.
Chris,
Caching is something that every browser does on web sites to a certain extent, primarily to make future visits to the site load faster. I really don't know how browsers determine what parts of a site should be cached and what parts should be more dynamic. It is probably a combination of the browser looking at subsequent views of a site to determine what has changed and what hasn't changed, and deciding that something on a site is basically static and should be cached. A menu like you were having trouble seeing is pretty much a static entity, in other words it hardly ever changes, so it would be a good choice as something to be cached.
I know this is basically a non-answer but maybe this page will give you a little more information about it --> http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/ie6/using/howto/customizing/clearcache.mspx
