Everytime someone types a word with an apostrophe in it, it adds a \.

It's turns into It\'s

As far as I know, there has not been a fix found for this yet... I have been waiting for a few weeks to hear back on this, but still nothing.
I haven't a clue, but doing a bit of reading up. Is this anything to do with it?

And the solution,
http://sourceforge.net/apps/mediawiki/ajax-chat/index.php?title=Slashes_before_apostrophes
That does look like what I read before and used to fix it, however I cannot find AJAXchat.php anywhere on my server....
It was the fact that you said you had changed hosts,
I wondered if it was something it mentioned in the second link,
"This bug appears to occur when PHP's magic_quotes_gpc is set to off in your server configuration."
Maybe this need to be set to ON, on your server.
I have a ticket in with my hosting provider with that exact request.
If they decide to NOT turn it on, then there's got to be a fix, right?
