Hi! In source code of my forum i've this file tp-files/tp-plugins/javascript/mootools.js
Can i remove it? Is there any reason to maintain?
Thanks in advance, DarkWolf.
I do believe the mootools are used for a couple of things in TP. Like the scolling effects in the shoutbox. I think even ratings in articles etc. Why do you need to remove it?

I don't use TP shoutbox neither Tp-Article.
Why i need to maintain 30K (or plus) of unused javascript? :-\
I can't believe that "30K (or plus) of unused javascript" would cause an undue hardship on your server. In any case, I believe it was only used in TP 1.0 beta 3 and beta 4 so if you are using the latest version of Tinyortal, and it is still there, it can be safely removed.
In any case, if you want to remove it then, by all means, remove it, but be prepared to replace it when things with your install start acting up. In other words, save a copy of it to your local computer, just in case.
