First post on this new location... BIG Tiny Portal fan...
Issue- TP Articles..
FYI- I was using an older version of TP back before I switched to SMF 2... Had to use Simple Portal for a good while before the version to support SMF 2 was out... Just rebuilt the entire site with all latest version of mods and TinyPortal which brought back all the dormant data in the database I could not use while on Simple Portal including all the articles...
1) I cannot edit a category- when I click on the edit link in TP admin for that category I get a wrapped blank page.
- Possible directory permission issue?
2) New Articles not showing up in Block selection- When I create a new article, save it, approve it, mark it as active, ... I do not see this new article in the drop down list of articles I can put in a front page block.
- Something I'm doing wrong,, Yes?
Solved this one,

- Possible directory permission issue?
I was clicking on the magnifying glass icon- I clicked on the actual category itself and Bingo...
Now... I still can't figure out #2
It's working fine on my install with the latest version SMF and TP. Just make sure that your articles that are not showing are activated.

Are you talking about the dropdown that you see on the Block Selection screen after you have created a "Single Article" type block (see first image attached below)?
If that is what you are talking about, then yes, it won't be populated in the current version of TinyPortal and yes, this is a bug that we probably need to remind Bloc about so that he can fix it or remove it from that location (which might be easier for him to do).
If you want to change the article that is displayed in that "Single Article" block, you will need to go into the edit screen for that block. You may then select (or change) the article that is being displayed (see the second image attached below).
