Title: frontpage layout question
Post by: BLueSS on May 26, 2010, 02:17:10 AM
(https://www.tinyportal.net/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg14.imageshack.us%2Fimg14%2F9537%2Ffrontpageki.png&hash=5a0072d67d06a95be5ebd49e5a745604da2bd211) (http://img14.imageshack.us/i/frontpageki.png/)

(Not sure if this is related to the previous error or not, so posting here)
I just upgraded to the latest version of Tiny Portal, and now on my forum post pages look like the above.  These are the ONLY pages this comes up.

Any ideas? :(

Is it a block? Does it happen in the SMF default theme?

It appears to be a "promote to front page" block??
I disabled all of my blocks available in the admin, switched to the default theme and it still showed up.

I haven't found a way to disable this feature annoying box yet.

Yep. I don't think there's any way to turn that off at the moment. It only shows for admin though.

Sorry for the necro...

Is there a method yet for removing this? I don't really want to go through uninstall then reinstall as I've spent a while getting TP exactly how I like. If there's a simple string for removing I'd be more than happy to use that.

Code (find in Themes/default/TPsubs.template.php) Select
function template_tpfrontpagetopics_above()
{
global $context, $boardurl, $txt , $board, $scripturl;

Code (add after) Select
return;

That should make that section not show at all.
