SMF version: SMF ver. 1.1.11 to 2.0 rc3
TP version: TP ver. 1.0 Beta 5
Theme name and version: Default Theme
Browser Name and Version: Firefox 3.6.3
Mods installed: Gallery
Just upgraded smf 1.1.11 to 2.0 rc3. Reinstalled TP. Frontpage left panel blocks now appearing completely across width of page and no front or right blocks displaying at all. Also in other forum pages, some left and right blocks appearing but others are not.
Rafferty,
Uninstall TP 1.0 beta 5 and install TP 1.0 beta 5-1 (the latest version) and see if it makes a difference.

I'm sorry it is 5.1
Anything in your error log?
I could be wrong (I usually am), but don't some of the blocks need to be reworked to work with SMF2 ?
You could try turning off some of the blocks, or all of them, and turn them back on one by one until you find one causing the problem.
I had a similar problem with a lower block with a error in the code, it stopped all my right hand blocks showing. Also the block I was testing stretched right across my home page.
Rafferty,
Can you setup an account on your Forum so that I can see the issue. I can't see any blocks there, probably because you keep guests from seeing anything. PM me the username and password.

Will do, I just can't explain how the left side block can span the whole width of the page. I havnt checked the codes yet either.
It's a fresh install of 2.0 rc3 and TP using my existing database.
Rafferty,
Well, it's definitely strange. I can't say that I've ever seen this behavior. However, because neither the SMF copyright nor the TP copyright is shown at the bottom of the FrontPage, that may be a clue. A lot of times this is due to some errant code in a block or an article but you don't have very many blocks on the FrontPage so I'm not sure. If there are some blocks that are enabled but not showing this could very well be the reason. Also, I've never dealt with a site that uses the secure http protocol but that shouldn't matter.
I would like to take a look at your settings and your blocks from inside and also get a look at your error log. If you don't mind, could you make me an Admin so that I can take a look at them? LMK here once you've done this and I'll get back on there.

Done ZarPrime, you are an admin
Thanks again
Rafferty,
OK, at a minimum, the following blocks, all PHP I believe, were causing the problems. I turned all of these off for now ...
*In the Left Panel ...
Arcade Champs
*In the Lower Panel ...
Users Online Today
*In the Right Panel ...

I went through the blocks that I thought might have been having issues and just turned them off until I was able to get the Forum to show up on the FP and the SMF and TP copyrights to show up at the bottom of the FP. There could be other blocks that aren't working right as well but at least I think it's probably basically showing up the way you had intended now. All of those blocks that I turned off look like they may have been written for earlier versions of TP but the primary reason they are causing problems is not because of TP but because they seem to be using database calls from pre-SMF 2.0. In order to use them, you will either have to have them edited for use with SMF 2.0 or find some other snippet that does something similar. Your error log now contains an additional 17 pages of errors that occurred while I was working on it. I left them there in case you wanted to have a look at them.
If you are satisfied with what I did so far and don't need me to do anything else, you can feel free to delete the account you setup for me.
