Hello,

i just upgraded one of my forums from smf 1.1.11 to SMF2 RC3 and TP from beta 4 to beta 5.

After i did i noticed the (new) shoutbox was missing and in the modules i only had the adv shoutbox from the old TP (which obv didnt work and just gave me a blank box). I then installed TP Beta 5.1 thinking it could solve the problem but it hasnt and i still dont get a shoutbox option (other than adv shout). I know this isnt a bug as i had already tested the upgrades on a test site and the shoutbox worked perfectly through both beta 5 and 5.1.

I looked in the frontpage settings and under "What to display on frontpage:" it does not list anything - just says "No modules available".

Can anyone help me out here? ive taken the site offline while i make all the upgrades and unfortunatley for me the shoutbox is probably one of the most important features :(

Long time no see. :D This happened because you didn't uninstall beta 4 first ...

It's probably not a big deal if that's the only problem you had.  Simply look in the modules and make sure that TP ADV Shoutbox is turned off (since it isn't supported) and that TP Simple Shout is turned on.  You may have to create another Shoutbox block, but you may be able to just edit the block to use the correct module.

Zar you are a genius! I was so busy looking at the module block in TP admin underneath i didnt even think to go there, tried everything but! It worked and thx alot  O0

well im about 15% through getting everything done trying to finish it all today!!!  :D
