After modifyiing the Sources/Subs according to the mod_instructions for RC2
I got the following error (when trying to see the Recent posts)

Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting ')' in /home/thmmygr/public_html/smf/Sources/Subs.php on line 3470

Sth like the above I got when I modyfied the ManagePermissions and tried to enter in Permisions in admin panel

If you could please post your file so we can take a look and see if we can find what is wrong.

Any ideas/suggestions guys?
I can't complete the installation of TP without these :(

For the life of me I can't see anything wrong with these. If you want you can try the attached files from one of my test installs. The only modifictaion they have are from TinyPortal. See if these files fix your problem.

It's working now.

Just a question: These two files don't contain any settings made by admins during the whole period that forum is running right? I mean usergroups/ permissions that granted/ who can view hidden boards etc

Absolutely not! All admin settings are stored in the database I believe. :) The only pertinent information that is stored in the SMF files would be in Settings.php which is where all the database connection info is stored.
