No matter how I have the FP Settings, I can't seem to show Avatars in Forum
Posts on the FP. Has anyone had any luck with this one?

Works for me on my site, as well as the testing site.

The attachments upload directory is not writable. Your attachment or avatar cannot be saved.
Les, if you see this, can you check it.
I still can't this to work on my test site using the same settings as what are on the test site.

just a guess here, it that folder writable on your server?
Double-check that it's 777. If it is 777, then try 755, and if that still doesn't work, get on to your host.

No, I was talking about uploading my Avatar to our test site, which is run by Lesmond. I still can't get the Avatar to show in FP posts on my test site.

I thinking its to do with your folder permissions, hence why its not loading any for you. Avatars work fine in my articles.
can you check Packages>File Permissions. what does the Status say for your avatar folder. > Writable (chmod: 0777) :-\
Yes, it says "avatars Writable (chmod: 0777)"

It would seem the ftp information is not correct for the test site anymore, or I would have fixed it.
Well, if everybody else is able to show Avatars in FP posts, then it has to be a setting on my test site. I'm not going to worry about this for now if I'm the only one this is happening to. I can go back and address this later, unless somebody has an idea of why it might be happening.

If you mean the forum posts using the "show forum posts on front page" option, then my posts on the front page also won't show my avatar. :(
Avatar works everywhere else on my test site, forums, shoutbox, user block etc. But not in those front page posts.
I have done a little bit of testing on this. I found that if I changed the avatar of one of the members to be from a url rather than uploaded as it was, that one showed up. I will test some more when I find the time to see if I can figure out anything else about this.

Yes, it was behaving strange. I have changed so it now use the same code as the shoutbox and it seems to work fine all over.
