Since i've updated to the latest TP (beta 5) i've noticed that some of the sections of TP Admin are extreamly slow (eg: the Blocks overview , blocks edit , menu edit .. mainly the things that have lots of input things like gadgets etc)
So i decided to try it out on IE8 .. and wow it was a hell of a lot faster (like 3-6 times faster) loading up those pages
Can someone please try to explain to me why such a huge speed difference
(NOTE: tested with both browsers with cleared caches and then with cached pages .. speed difference is about the same no matter what)
can be an FF issue, some time back there were issues like this with FF, the fix then were some sort of settings in FF to preveent it from loading slow on serten things on a page, cant remember what and where it was through, however, havent notised any slow loading in TP admin on any site i have been to now with the new TP and with FF :)
I can't say I've experienced the same no. And I use FF 3.6.3.
Is it a custom theme?
Oh wow, i thought it was just me....
I always use FF but because now i use TPb5, im forced to use IE when it comes to opening the blocks page in tpadmin.
Withh FF, it hangs loading too long. Not with IE8. (i havent tried this with default theme tho').
I don't have this problem with FF 3.0.10 here at work.

on ie8 i count up to 5 to load the admin blocks overview page
on FF 3.6.3 I count up to 20 to load the admin blocks overview page
tose figures are agerages .. over about 10 trials
There must be something else holding it up. Most likely javascript from a custom theme.
If one of you guys are running firebug, go to the net tab and watch to see what takes the longest. Just tested here in FF 3.6.3 and still no slowness on my end.
