Let's start a "Pool."
We should start a pool as to the date and time of the next release of TinyPortal for SMF 2.0 RC3.
Guess the date and time of it's release and win bragging rights to the golden crystal ball. :)
Of course admins and beta testers are not allowed in the game.
I am figuring on April 1 (April Fool's Day) in the AM.
May 13th PM (GMT!)
well just in case its close enough for a tie breaker :D
the way it looks right now we got no guessers. Looks like everyone is a beta tester or an admin.

No seriously, it won't be much longer now. The bugs in the development version can be counted on 2 hands. It's the most stable version of TP I've seen. Although, the bugs that are there are pretty serious and Bloc wants to address them before release.
Problems with the site uptime are interfering with development ATM. Bloc could use a few donations right about now...
I'm excited about TP beta 5. Others will see why when it's released. I've used all the portals available with SMF 2.0 RC2, and TP is the best in my opinion, even with it's current bugs. Once they are squashed, TP will hands down the be the best out there...

I also like the TP but this waiting is killing me :(
Besides if this release I mean TP1.0b5 will be really fine I assume the next release will be a stable version ;)
Nolt, so, let me ask you this. Does that mean that after this version comes out, and Bloc makes it stable, it is your opinion that Bloc should stop further development of TP and move on to something else? :P

There is no such thing as stable. Just another myth perpetuated by wishful hopes. In the real world stable also means standing still, however there is no such thing as standing still because if you are standing still you are going backwards.

Oh Oh.... Now I have to say this.... I am going to install TP 1.0 Beta5 and I am not changing SMF ever again until there is a ready version of TP ready to go with it. The last 18 months have been absolute hell trying to make do with whatever else was out there because I just had to have the latest SMF
