I'm looking for all kinds of icons and miscellaneous graphics for a project I am going to work on in a month or two. Just wondering if any of you designers out there have some good sources. I know there is a lot of free stuff out there, but a lot of it is looking a bit dated now - I'm looking for modern and funky stuff lol
Any suggestions ? Cheers :)
PS. they need to be totally free for any use...
have a look here Freddy http://www.icojoy.com/blogs/3/ some of these are what bloc uses btw 8)
Excellent, exactly the kind of thing I am looking for, thanks very muchly :)
Crip linked me a really good icon site the other day. I can't remember it, but hopefully he'll post it here. :)
Here are a couple of links you could follow, found quite a few here myself:

There's also a zillion little icons at http://www.mena.com.mx/gonzalo/iconos/14x14x256/todos.html . The only thing is that the names are in Spanish.
Nice, I can use a few of those, thanks JP :)

Wow so many ! Thanks everyone :) Handy little thread this turning into.
There's another one called Icon Buffet -- http://www.iconbuffet.com -- that has some nifty icons, if you can figure out how to actually get them. There's some sort of odd hoops that you have to jump through in order to get them.
Cool, there's a heck of a lot there too. Seems you need to register first, it looks worth doing though - thanks again :)
http://www.smashingmagazine.com/ - has tons of icons, fonts, tutorials and lots more. ;)
