I do not see the no name problem you're talking about. However, I do know that problem has been posted about many times already. Did you use the search to see if any of the suggestions would work for you?

read it, thing is though, i haven't touched the articles section on tp, all my front page posts are coming directly from forum posts. could it be permissions? for the other guy it only shows as a guest, but for me its only showing when logged in.

I think it is something that may be in one of your language files. Do a search of your language files and you'll probably find it.

No name is displayed in a few cases in TP. In particular with articles and categories. What are your frontpage settings? We need to know all the details so we can try to replicate the issue.

Also, besides what Ichbin mentioned, since you haven't done anything with articles at all, when you go to Admin --> TinyPortal --> Articles and Categories, do you have any categories listed and do they have zero articles?

Create a category, move the article to the category that you create. I think this is fixed in beta5.

That would be because you have to go into the categories section to edit the category. See the categories links next to the highlighted articles tab?

You have an article that you have apparently created at one time --> http://www.pcgamingftw.com/index.php?page=2

If you click that link, the linktree says --> PC Gaming is FTW > -no name- > News

This indicates that this article exists in either a "no name" category or that it isn't in a category at all.  However, when looking at the articles and categories Admin section, there are no articles, including this one, visible.  This indicates that the article is in the database but is not showing up in the Admin section.

When clicking "-no name-" in that linktree, there is an indication that the category doesn't exist because the FrontPage is shown rather than the category ...
http://www.pcgamingftw.com/index.php?cat=1

I have edited the article (page 2) and there is an indication that the article was never placed into a category.  I placed it into the new category you created (Home) to see if it would show up.  It now shows up in Admin and this fixed the "no name" issue and solves the problem that you have posted about in this topic.

Bottom line is that every article must be placed into a category, even if it isn't turned on, at least in TP 1.0 beta 4.  This will work slightly different in future versions of TinyPortal.

However ...
You have other problems with your Forum that I found when looking through it.  First of all, and this is the major problem, it seems that you have deleted the default SMF core theme.  Be advised that because of this, you may have future problems with your Forum because TinyPortal relies on the SMF default theme despite the fact that none of your users may never use it.  However, this is a totally different issue.

For the issue in this topic, I have marked this topic solved.

Yes, but it is not the default SMF core theme, which should look like the one on this page ...
http://www.tinyportal.net/smf1/index.php?theme=1

If you look at theme 1 on your site, you can see that it is not the default theme ...
http://www.pcgamingftw.com/index.php?theme=1

Major problem there.  You should never delete the default SMF theme or copy another theme over top of it.

Oh, i forgot to mention one other thing.  In your Forum Error Log, you have something like 750 pages of errors.  One of those errors had something to do with the Arcade Mod that you have installed and probably has to do with edits that you needed to do to make that Mod work with your custom theme (Mystic Jade).  However, the other one is the "smileys_enabled" error and is a known bug in TinyPortal 1.0 beta 4 which you can easily fix yourself.  For the fix, read about the bug here ...
