I have 4 forums to upgrade. Everyhting has went well except for the 2nd forum upgrade. I upgraded SMF T0 1.1.11 and then next did a TP upgrade.
It went well and everything works ok except I have an extra http:// on many links on the forum. In the signatures and links in the sigs.
Any posts where members have posted images, the images are not showing due to the extra http://. Would an uninstall be in order and a new install maybe? Thank you for any help.
SMF version 1.1.11
TinyPortal v1.0 beta 4
I went ahead and unistalled TP and deleted some files that appeared to be left behind. I did a complete re-install of TP but the problem is still there. I will wait until someone posts a reply.
I have reason to believe that this may have occurred during the SMF upgrade so until I find out for sure, please disregard for now and thanks.
I'd start by checking settings.php, to make sure the $scripturl setting hasn't been altered.
If that's ok, 1.1.11 made changes to some of the parsing functions in Subs.php, so I'd take a fresh copy of Subs.php (1.1.11), and manually modify it with the TP edits, incase the update maybe duplicated code.
It is definitely a bug in the SMF upgrade. You'll need to uninstall and delete your update package. Then install the package again from the click update in your admin panel. This happened to me as well.
I just upgraded from 1.1.9 to 1.1.10 to 1.1.11 using the click here link and it all seems okay so I would agree with IchBin.
Yes, the SMF site has replaced the files that had caused the problem and it was with the SMF upgrade. I should have known it could never have been Tiny Portal causing a problem. Thanks guys, top of the day to ya.
If you are haing this problem, just go download the new files from SMF. An un-install is not necessary but is always smart to do anyway. When the files rewrite on the new install, it fixes everything. Later and thanks.
