Title: [Theme] Blue
Post by: Tomb on November 14, 2009, 12:16:24 AM
Hey. I was looking for a tp theme of "Blue" by popularfx. I really like the look but no sidebar appears on my site. Can you help me to convert it to a Tiny Portal theme? I would really appreciate it! here is a link to the theme.

You will need to get permission from popularfx before it can be converted to tp

Also Please read the Posting Guidelines (http://www.tinyportal.net/index.php?topic=581)

If you have TP Beta4 you will not need to convert, only on TP 098 you need the themes converted to work with TP

Thanks. That worked really good! The only problem I see is when you put the mouse over search, instead of showing a search input box like it used to it now shows this.

function (D, C) { D = D || 0; if (D < 0) { D = this.length + D; } C = C || this.length - D; var A = []; for (var B = 0; B < C; B++) { A[B] = this[D++]; } return A; }
function (C) { var B = 0; var A = this.length; while (B < A) { if (this[B] === C) { this.splice(B, 1); A--; } else { B++; } } return this; }
function (A, B) { return this.indexOf(A, B) != -1; }
function (C) { var D = {}, B = Math.min(this.length, C.length); for (var A = 0; A < B; A++) { D[C[A]] = this[A]; } return D; }
function (C) { for (var B = 0, A = C.length; B < A; B++) { this.push(C[B]); } return this; }
function (C) { for (var B = 0, A = C.length; B < A; B++) { this.include(C[B]); } return this; }
function (A) { if (!this.contains(A)) { this.push(A); } return this; }
function () { return this[$random(0, this.length - 1)] || null; }
function () { return this[this.length - 1] || null; }
function forEach() { [native code] }
function (A, B) { return this.indexOf(A, B) != -1; }
function (D) { if (this.length < 3) { return false; } if (this.length == 4 && this[3] == 0 && !D) { return "transparent"; } var B = []; for (var A = 0; A < 3; A++) { var C = (this[A] - 0).toString(16); B.push(C.length == 1 ? "0" + C : C); } return D ? B : "#" + B.join(""); }
function (C) { if (this.length != 3) { return false; } var A = []; for (var B = 0; B < 3; B++) { A.push(parseInt(this[B].length == 1 ? this[B] + this[B] :

Please read the Posting Guidelines (http://www.tinyportal.net/index.php?topic=581) because that makes no sense!

Hi Tomb,

Welcome to TinyPortal.

This may have something to do with your Simple Machines copyright having been removed at http://www.daniellioneye.com/forum/.  I have heard that an SMF Forum won't work correctly if the SMF copyright is removed but I can't be sure because I've never actually tried to remove it from any of my sites.  Besides that, it's not legal to remove the SMF copyright.

In any case, the search tab function wouldn't have anything to do with TinyPortal.  I suggest that you either ask the theme's author or at the SMF support site for SMF 1.1.10 (if that's the version you are using), which is located here --> http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?board=9.0

Thanks for the info I fixed my copyright stuff. But the search is still messed up. It was working before I installed tinyportal and even after installing an older version of tinyportal. But the new beta 4 seems to cause this problem. If I can't fix it I will just take it out of the links bar and let people use the search in the left panel but the inputbox that appeared when the mouse was over it was a nice feature.

Some type of JScript for that Search field box , prolly Delete the Jscript code to it and it'd be alright ..

just installed this theme on our test site, and I get a similar situation there too, when hovering over the search  http://www.tinyportal.net/index.php?theme=47,

umm cant see the search menu on that site unless logged in, but it does give the same as you posted Tomb so I can only assume that its the theme that is causing this problem!! :o

The Search is OK , it's that Javascript mixing with TP (scripts) that casuse that.......

Remove the Entire Script and the Search will be Fine ...... trust me. :)

I really think this is a question for "popularfx" the blue theme maker and not here on TP, this topic is now locked!!
