Guess this was the first time I have tried to announce an upload. When I did, I got a strange error about DB Server version error. But nothing else is giving this. Here are the errors from the logs.

Sorry if this should go in the General Support forum... debated which to put it in...
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I can setup a login and upload access if someone is wanting to see the error..

A couple of things..
1) have you set *which* boards you can announce within(the ones that will show in the drop-dowm menu for board to post/announce in). Be sure at least one is chosen.
2.) Does the error occur ONLY on announcing? Did the post go through before that?
No, I have not set what boards... Will look for that. I did notice the drop down box was blank, but though that I might have just setup a default board to post in.
Yes, the upload completed without a problem. It looks like only the announcement was the problem.
I will find where to set the boards and see if that is what it was.. Thanks...

Ok, I admit.. I'm blind, lost or both.. But I can't find where to tell what boards can be used for announcements from the DL mgr...???

Look in admin/ TinyPortal / DL manager / Settings.
:uglystupid2: DUH!!!.. I had looked there several times, about to pull my hair out... :2funny:
Should read section heading MORE careful..... Listing was hidden and I was glancing over it thinking it was the heading for the options below...
Just shoot me!!! Thanks, will fix and retest the announcement... I don't think there will be a problem this time...
