And i am looking at installing tiny portal on to the board, is this mod compatable with my version of smf yet?

No, TP will not work on your SMF version, We are working on it though and just got the first team alpha, so it will still be some time ahead before a public release of TP V5 fÃƒÂ¶r SMF 2
