Ok, I am trying to make a block so that I can show forum posts from the news board. The clan I used to be with www.fps-source.com if you look right under the Steam logo in the center, that is what I want, but not sure how I can do it. Any suggestions would be great right now. Thanks!!!
Try and use the search for "Forum News on frontpage" and im sure you will find lots of help and answers allready given on that question :)
Well after looking at 5 pages for the search on forum news on frontpage, I am getting a little weery about all of this. I obviously have to do some coding which I screwed up tremendously on my last site, that made me have to uninstall and reinstall smf and tp, not about to screw up some more then have to redo my site, if someone could help me with the coding that would be great, if not I guess no news on the frontpage
Ok I got it to work on the frontpage but it's the wrong section of the forums that i wanted on there... I want news and it's doing introduce yourself. Any suggestions?

You need to change the Board Number in the code to reflect the board that you want to fetch news from, but, you haven't posted what code you are using.
Why does a block code need to be used? Why can't you use the "board as news" option in your frontpage settings?
