Title: Article Intro not working properly.
Post by: Touti on August 28, 2009, 03:39:29 PM
Hi,

I'm having difficulties making an article appear the way I want.  I basically want an article in the front panel with the Intro.  I tried two different ways and ended up with different problems.

SMF: 1.1.10
TP: 1.0 Beta 4
Mods: TP 1.083, Anti-bots "Are You Human" 2.3

1: Front page configured to display Front Panel and Article with an HTML article set as featured.  With this configuration the Intro doesn't work at all and I get the full article without the "Read more" link at the bottom.  Is this by design for Featured Articles ?

2: Front page configured to display Front Panel only, my article not set as Featured and using a "single article" block to display it.  With this setup the intro works but it doesn't render properly as you can see in the link.  If I change the article to disable the Intro then it display fine.  The intro part is just a copy/paste from the article which I then cut to keep only the part I wanted.

Edit: I forgot to mention that the problem is with article in the "Front Panel Block" section although it's quite obvious  :)

No problem :) The bugtracker can be found from the main menu, check there first if something isn't working as expected.
