Hi,

If I rename the directory where TP and SMF are installed and if I update all links both with repair_settings.php and at the admin section... Should I experience any problems?

Are there any other places where I should need to update links/urls manually?

My old directory name: http://mydomain.com/forum
My new directory name: http://mydomain.com/portal

Probably not. All you should have to do is use repair_settings and change the URL and path to your Themes in the Admin section. Everything else should be fine. (I moved a site just two days ago.)
