Dear people
I have difficulties finding it, and I hope U could answer or give me the right direction
my wordpress i am developing atm is right here : www.dwindlepoker.com
the SMF forum i am builing is : www.dwindlepoker.com/forum
BUT, i don't like those two standalone, and i was hoping if anyone can tell me if there is a proper plugin to integrate the SMF forum into my wordpress?
without leaving the page ofcourse. If necessary i rebuilt the SMF forum and titles, thats a minor
as long as I can just work on my main page and people can stay on the page.
So cliffnotes :
Plugin
Where to find it?
and is it easy doable to place it in wordpress? ( I did joomla before and they had a very easy extension for it)
thx!
You are better off asking that question at SMF or Wordpress to see if they have a plugin or something. I know one was being worked on at one time, but I don't know if anything has ever worked. Good luck!
Yea thx
well i found one on wordpress but that post dates from 3 years back
and in the end it took me to this website on of the links mentioned to find the plugin

I don't see anything linking back to TinyPortal there. I see some other links, but for the most part it links you to simplemachines.
There is a plugin B0ss , saw many sites using it for SMF / WP

well
it was here i found the link :
WordPress 2.0 and up.
(Kudo's to the WP team, for their incredible plugin API)
Enigma 2.0 (RC1)
available at www.lunabyte.net
lunabyte redirects me to here at tinyportal
http://ostatic.com/lunabyte
haha, well I guess lunabyte liked TinyPortal. They must have went under, or given up on the software and then redirected their domain to the place they thought had the best portal. :)

They did that.
They gave it a good try for a while and then folded.
There have been many attempts over the past several years to have some kind of SMF/WP, or WP/SMF bridge so that the two could share a common member base, but so far all those attempts fell short of a good working solution, or just fell apart altogether.
Hopefully the one that Crip linked to will do better... http://www.dmry.net/wordpress-smf-bridge-plugin-10-beta
Those of us who run SMF as our main platform would prefer it to go SMF/WP of course.
