Hi guys
My forum was recently moved to a new host and i'm getting a strange error.
We are able to change the theme in tiny portal (i have v 0.9.8 installed), but when we try to change it permanently in the profile area we get the attached error.
I've looked through a lot of files to see if i can find this Digital Systems lines, without success.
Can anyone give me a suggestion?

Don't have a clue really. You'd be best to ask at SMF for help on this issue.
Database language option issues it seems.
Did you have ISO or UTF8 set on your old server ? They must match between the servers or things like this will show up as soon as you want to save anything in the DB.
In your Site admin you have some options for site maintenance, one option is to set the DB to eather ISO or UTF8. for the DB.

It didn't work and now my forum is pretty messy with the utf8 convertion.
Even after uploading all the utf language files for the fórum & TP, and reimporting the database.
I'll have to search more.

I got it sorted out.
In fact it was some >:( SOB hacker who registered in my forum that uploaded an image as his avatar.
Somehow, the image added a line of code to smf_themes.
variable: theme_dir
value: /attachments/610.jpg
I deleted the line in the table, removed the image from the server and banned the user.
From now on, only users with more then "n" posts will be able to upload their avatars...
Don't they have anything else to do? I'm sure they have a more interactive neighbour. Why don't they check that possibility?

There are truly a pain sometimes.
If you haven't upgraded your Forum to SMF 1.1.10 yet, you should do that. I believe stuff like this was one of things that was addressed in that upgrade.

Yes i do, ZarPrime. My forum is in version 1.1.10. This must have happened before the update.

Did you run that kb_scan file they have at SMF? I think they have a file that scans all your files for these types of hacks or something like it. If you haven't, you should check it out.
I did IchBin, but nothing came up.
So i started searching all over and it was antechinus, at DzinerStudio who gave me the right link to this post in smf forum: http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=276684.0
From there, I started looking in my database and there it was, together with a 1 dot image in avatars folder...
You know the rest...
But it's sorted now.
