Title: Block causing Internal Server Error 500
Post by: ScopeXL on July 15, 2009, 02:59:23 AM
Hello, I seem to have stumbled in a hole, and need some help.

I installed nneo's shoutbox, and put the block snippet code in a PHP block, and everything was fine, then I decided to change nneo shoutbox versions and after I uninstalled nneo, it caused an internal server error 500. I believe this is because I did not remove the block before uninstalling, and now I can't access anything. How do I remove or disable that block so I can get my forum back in working order? Is it possible?

Hi ScopeXL,

Welcome to TinyPortal.

It's doubtful that the block is causing the error.  Have a look at this link for more information on it ...

I suggest you try it again later to see if it's fixed, and if it isn't, you may want to ask your host about it.  If you would like us to take a look in the meantime, Please Read and Follow the Posting Guidelines (http://www.tinyportal.net/index.php/topic,581) and include a link to your site so that we will have some additional information that will enable us to assist you.

If you have some code in a block that is causing problems, you can always turn all the blocks off as an administrator by adding noblocks to your URL. http://www.yoursite.com/index.php?action=admin;noblocks;
