I believe my problem should be solved in SMF forum but I put the problem there and almost two days has passed and nowone seem to know the answer so I am giving a try here. I used the them Callisto.
Slowly all my mods are starting to stop working.
1)Some days ago, a mod called "Siple Image Upload' started acting weird and instea of having one link to upload images I had two. I unistalled the mod from the root and installed again and now I have THREE links. See below.
2)Then my avatar dissapeared even though I had posted it through a link from Photobucket. The avatar stays for about one day, and then is gone leaving just the slot like the image is there, but it is not.
3) The Mod Global Headers and footer work fine for sometime and suddenly, the video that is posted is gone and there is white square where the video was.
4) And today, the mod Aeva stopped working. With this mod all you have to do is throw that URL link in the message to be posted and the video is there. Well, not is not. What is there is the link and when you click the link takes you for example Youtube where the video is. But this mod is suppose to post the video and it was doing it until today.
I started having these problems about two weeks ago when I installed a new theme for a Joomla site I had. My forum dissapeared at that time. But my hosting company removed the theme and reinstalled the forum. But it has not been the same. I opened my forum two days ago and nothing is working... :(
Anyone has an idea of what could be happening? Please?
Do you have a backup? I'd just restore all the files from the day before you put the joomla theme on.
If not it might be time for a rebuild as thats a lot of things going wrong.

I thought about the rebuild too but I opened my forum two days ago!! And the back up was done by my hosting company when all this happened.
I would go for the rebuild but how can it be done? I would be willing to do it if it is going to make the forum run smoothly.
If you only built it 2 days ago then you know what you've done already so you can delete all the files and just start over pointing to the existing database with the few posts you will already have.
I opened it two days ago, but I've been working on it slowly for over two months. What you are telling me is that it can be done by slowly deleting files? But how will I know which files to delete? What if I delete important files? I tried to do that a couple of hours ago. I tried to delete for example all the files of one of the mods that's not working. I deleted ALL the files and backups. Then I installed again. Well, when I installed it, it told me that it was already installed and now instead of three links for Simple Image Upload Mod I have FOUR!!! Don't know what to do!
I think you may have duplicated code in some of your files that needs to be removed, when you have un-installed the mobs they have left code behind, and that needs to be removed
It might be multiple problems..but first is to check the settings, maybe the SMF paths are not correct?
