This is more of a support question then feedback. sp i move it to support.
Will also have to ask you to follow our posting guide we have and apply the proper info from the questions we ask in there.

blizz-craft,

Along with what G6 requested, I am interested in knowing what theme you are using on the site and whether you have gotten permission from the Author of the theme to remove their copyright?  I ask this because I don't see the theme copyright on your site anywhere.

Yeah, once I uploaded the theme, it didnt have the copyright information... Do you know what it is or where to get it?
Its the Wrath of the Lich King theme... I think it was from The R something, cant remember...

SMF: 1.1.9
TinyPortal: 1.0 beta 4
Theme: Wrath of the Lich King
Browser: Internet Explorer 8
Site: http://blizz-craft.com/
Support:
1- Need someone to measure the center block area and tell me the width
2- Need information:
There was a thread for a php script in the root folder that makes the logo change every click. Can that script (rotate.php) go into IMG html tags.
Im asking this becuase I am trying to add an effect so that theres a banner in the center block saying each item:
Protect Your Blizz-Craft Account!
-Especially if your a Premuim member
Register for Free!

etc....
Something like a flash slideshow, but it changes on each click, not every second...
Similar to like banner ads...

1. How can you get a width measurement when people use different size resolutions and monitors etc?
2. Yes, you put the path to the php file in the src attribute of the image.

blizz-craft,

Interesting.

I gave you the link to find the theme in this post ...
http://www.tinyportal.net/index.php/topic,24916.msg238072.html#msg238072

I just downloaded the file and placed the theme on my test forum.  The copyright information shows up fine on my test site.  Of course I didn't remove it.  It makes no sense that it would show on my site but not on yours, unless you removed it.  Image below.

b-c, I am not the www constable.  It's certainly not my job to seek out offenders or violators.  If you want to remove the copyright information from someone's theme that you are using, that's up to you.  However, I respect the copyrights of authors, be it for themes or otherwise, and I don't help anyone who doesn't also respect them.

You may find this useful if you have Firefox:

Quote from: MeasureIt Add-On

Draw out a ruler to get the pixel width and height of any elements on a webpage.

MeasureIt (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/539)

You still have to consider what IchBin mentions, different screen resolutions... [edit] And, whether a website is of a fixed or fluid width. Some site themes are determined by percentage, width 96% seems to be common. When you resize the browser window, the site will resize to it's maximum or minimum width.. including any center blocks.

Bah.. here:

(https://www.tinyportal.net/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi150.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fs91%2FLABRADIO%2FGeneral%2520Site%2520Images%2FMeasured.png&hash=4296c6ad80d80f5ce8b5ecdfe4a3c1266fa60491)
Scroll right

I don't mind helping people, but, you could have done that yourself.. now I've spent 10 minutes measuring, capturing a screenshot, highlighting the dimensions displayed and uploaded the example.

Or, you could use the Web Developer plugin.

(https://www.tinyportal.net/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi150.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fs91%2FLABRADIO%2FGeneral%2520Site%2520Images%2FInspected.jpg&hash=a85a23763f5fa1f950249159cf9c07c6608bdb36)

Which shows I measured it a little over as it's actually 747px width.
