Title: fixes needed please
Post by: crucify on May 27, 2009, 02:08:32 AM
I'm using TP beta 3 and SMF 1.1.9
Stock theme and black by Fusillet
IE 8 and FF 3
No Mods
No errors
www.simracingfactory.com

Everything is working fine except the upload images resizing and the make topic post and the display forum post on front page.

When in the Dlmanager settings I have it set to resize to 800x600 in all 3 boxes.
Yet the image gets cropped instead, see image attached. Image size that is uploaded is 800x600. How do I fix this?

When setting it to make a topic about the upload, the post has broken code in it.
See picture, How do I fix this?

When setting front page to show forum posts it also has the same broken code in it.
See picture, How do I fix this?

I take it each of the three resize boxes in dlmanager settings resize differently placed images, can you tell me what each box resizes?
See picture.

All these issues happen no matter what theme I use, Just to make sure the install wasn't bad I made another test site with the same results.

Can I turn off resizing of images? where do I do this?

I'm not trying to be a pain in the but, rather I'm trying to get the site proper and love using TP.

I just upgraded to Beta 4 and that resolved the code errors in the forum and front page.

The resize issue is still there though

Sorry, I took the server down for a few hours. It's back up now.
Can you tell me where the code for the resizing is located so I can try to fix it?

Thanks

Personally, I don't know as I don't use the download manager and haven't spent much time with it. I have about 5 files for download and none have images.

So, please add it to the bugtracker like I asked, where it is more likely that a fix can be made for all to use, and possibly a temporary fix may be offered in the mean time.

C'mon, you provided good information here with screenshots and hardly anything in the tracker:

When adding additional picture to a upload it does not re size per settings. It crops instead.

SMF 1.1.9
TP beta 4
No mods
Any theme, including base theme.

And didn't link back to this topic.
