Hi!
i've upgrade my forum from 1beta3 to 1beta4 without errors but now not work plus the front panel  :(

I cant enable frontpanel :|

what do you have for your frontpage settings?

you need to ensure you have oen of the frontpanel options selected (see attachment)


then go to "Panels and Blocks" and make sure you have some blocks in the correct panels to show up

You need to set the frontpage settings to frontpanel only. For some reason you can't have forum posts and front panel blocks showing at the same time.

I moved my front panel blocks to the upper panel and made them only show on the front page as a work around. If you only have front panel blocks on your front page make sure you don't have "Fourm posts and articles" clicked on the front page settings.

With 1beta3 i use forum post and front panels without problem, now i test your solution :)

Riedit: i've moved Welcome Block in upper panel and enabled it only in frontpage :)
Now is ok ;)

Thanks for the heads up on the fix for the smileys error, my error log is filled with pages and pages worth of them.  :p

I'll try this tonight and see if it works.

Still the front panel doesn't work and need to be fix. The other panel (upper, lower, right, left, bottom, upper) are working just fine.

I also switch my welcome block to upper panel as an alternative.

The frontpanel works but not with forum posts on the frontpage as well.

You could always use a PHP Block to pull forum posts and use the frontpanel instead.  If that's what your looking to do, just another option.  ;)

IMHO dont work fine :|
With 1beta3 work best and without problem ;)
