I would like to change my username so that its corresponding to all other forums I'm active in. What do I have to do?

Go to your profile and select "Account Related Settings." You'll see the form there to change the name that people see on the forum.
Sorry if this sounds less than pleasant, but did you seriously not know how to change your name on an SMF forum, even though your signature indicates that you run an SMF support site?
Sure I know this. But the display name is not the same as the account name, as you maybe know. I have to login with the old name, and that is something I don't want.

You will have to login with your actual 'username' in the login box (it can't be changed); versus your 'display name' that can be changed within your profile settings.

It can. Simply a question of good will. ;)
Okay, if it will not be changed, I must live with it or delete my account someday.
I can change it for you if you'd like. However, doing this will require that your password be reset, and that the actual username is not already taken.
