Title: Unable to load the 'tp_above' template.
Post by: windrider on May 07, 2009, 11:46:47 PM
That is pretty much the error I get after having installed Tinyportal.

I've installed Tinyportal v1.0 Beta3 on top of a fresh install of SMF v1.1.8.

It is installed on a local PC running Ubuntu (9.04 I believe) with Apache2, PHP5 and MySql 5.

I tried looking up the problem but the only result from the search appeared to be totally different problem.

Thanks
Bill

windrider,

Welcome to TP.  Please read the Posting Guidelines.html (http://www.tinyportal.net/index.php/topic,581) and provide any info you have not provided.

Additionally you may want to look at:  How do I manually install TinyPortal (http://docs.tinyportal.co.uk/index.php?topic=29) and make sure that all file edits, installs were accomplished during the install.  You problem may be a permissions issue and the proper changes were not made to all the files.

Resolved....

I ended up deleted everything and trying the reinstall again and now it's working.

Except that I can't get the shoutbox to install because of permission problems...I have to fix a loose nut at the keyboard....
