Title: Is beta 3 ok?

I need to know if beta 3 has been altered lately to fix the few bugs that were found? If not, I will used 1. Plus if I use 1 now will it be easy to upgrade to 3 or 4 later. I see that this site is using 4. How is it?

Beta 3 fixed alot of bugs and is stable on the sites I use it on. Beta 4 fixes even more issues and will be very stable once released. So I guess it would be a personal preference as to whether the bugs fixed cure any problems you are having. You can check the bug-tracker for any bugs you have and see what version they are fixed in. Then make a decision to upgrade base don that.

With your history for messed up upgrades, i suggest you leave tp v3 out, and wait until beta4 comes out.

Thanks Carrina, that is what I needed to know. I used ezportal for awhile and it is a good portal but I missed TP too much. I have saved my data and did a manual install of SMF and it went without a hitch. I will used TP 1 for now.
