I really think that the search box you can include on you homepage needs to include the site!
Right now it only searches the forum, and my users need a way to search through my articles!
;D
EDIT: Another quick suggestion/question. How come when you first post a article it doesn't show the "include" things like Top, Date, ext.. You have to edit it later to get this.
Searching articles as well would be super cool. But I thing it would be very complicated to do.
Its planned. But like gerrymo says, its a bit complicated. SMF search use a rather complex routine..but I agreed that searching also should include the articles/modules.
Well thats a couple of wasted hours .. back to Joomla
have fun ;)

Wasted? You just touched the best Portal on the net! You should feel privileged. :D
OK .. when it has the ability to search its own articles , I'll come back and dance around with one leg in the air extolling its virtues as the best portal on the net. :o

Well I don't know what kind of remark you were expecting considering your nice comment. I could be a little rude if you want? I prefer to joke around a bit... maybe you should lighten up.

Maybe you should come back when it's out of beta? Hmm ...

Yawn ... Maybe you should direct that advice to the other sensitive posters .. I WAS joking around.
Anyway .. Joomla has its downfalls too ... time to crack the knuckles and build a good old fashioned search engine friendly html/php + 3rd party search script around my SMF forum.
Nobody posted anything negative towards you even after your "wasted time" comment. If you were joking, I would suggest next time you use a emoticon or two to convey your emotions. It's hard to read feelings through the internet.
I was really waiting on when serach category will be applied on Articles also ??
Not until TP V.1.0 if you look in the Roadmap (http://www.tinyportal.net/smf/index.php?page=14)
Understood so sad
but when it is expected to be any idea ?? and where can i get the tiny portal 0.9 download version ?
V1.0 does not ahve a date, but 0.9.5 is just around the corner.

I knew someone like you that said he could find security exploits in Windows Vista after using it for a few hours ;)
