Installed Mods: Custom Profile Field
EVORL URL (http://www.evorl.com)
Hi, I created a Custom Theme of my own based off of Tux Red Planet that had no issues on any pages until I tried to install a mod. Custom Mod Tab went bad on me when I followed some instructions to edit the modifications1 & 2 XMLs. Since then, the frontpage and the TPDownloads page are the only ones NOT showing with my theme like they should be.
How it should look--- > LINK (http://www.evorl.com/index.php?action=forum)
Only FP and Downloads look like this--- > LINK (http://www.evorl.comaction=forum)
I uninstalled the Mod but it changed some files. I tried to restore the particular files that the mod changed but that did not solve the issue. Any suggestions on what to do?
If the only mod you have installed is the custom profile field then I would download the large upgrade from the SMF site. Follow it's directions and that will basically reset your forum back to default SMF. Then install your custom theme. Install TP after that making sure you are using the default theme during the install. Once it is all working install the custom profile field mod, making sure you backup often. This should get you back to where you were at before it went wrong.
Hmm, I appreciate the advice and followed it but it did not solve the issue. I'm going to restore the database because the issue has to be in there somewhere.
Seems more like you have an article locked to just show the default theme.
Check your frontpage articles and uncheck the "show only this theme" option.
I'm having a similar problem. The TPdownloads module has an old theme and refuses to change even though I force the new theme with the "Reset everyone to:" option.
Any suggestions are appreciated.

I believe this to be SMF related. I've had similar issues, without TP installed. But with SMF 2.0RC3...

There's an option in the downloads manager for you to over-ride the forum theme.

Yes, I for got about that. make sure you don't have it set to a certain theme, unless you want it to be. ;)
Yep, I actually do this on one of my Forums that's still using an early version of TP 1.0. The regular Forum uses Bloc's Enterprise theme and the Downloads area uses Crip's old Moonraker theme.
The exact location to change this is in Admin/TinyPortal/TPDownloads/Settings/Use only this theme: (select from Dropdown).

Great thanks :)
