Title: Uploading Package Problems
Post by: impactonu on March 07, 2009, 07:37:56 AM
Every time I try and upload the .zip of Tiny Portal 0.9.8 I click upload and the page says Connection Interrupted:  The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading. When I try and upload another package it works?

TP is quite LARGE compared to other packages.

This is something you need to ask your host about, they need to make changes to the server so it can allow bigger files to be uploaded.

Using a free host as it's just a testing site.So a 500k upload limit wouldn't cut it then I guess.

Not quite when the TP package are over 1mb in size.

If you have access to FTP to your site, you can always install TP manually

How do I manually install TinyPortal (http://docs.tinyportal.co.uk/index.php?topic=29)

Also, if you got ftp and it allows you to upload files bigger than 1mb, upload it right into Packages folder. Then you can do the automatic install still.

Note that it might fail anyway, but worth a try. Saves the manual edits which is last resort.
