Hello all.

In the Portuguese support board of SMF forums, there is a user who made a mistake, that caused his TP unusable.

He was uninstalling some not needed MODs and eventually clicked to uninstall TP (and he does NOT want to do that). So, he closed the browser window in the middle of the uninstall process.

At this moment, I am helping him, I have put back some missing TP files and all the forum is working (index.php?action=forum). But, the "main page" bring this error:

And from here I don't know where to go.

Any ideas?

Ask him/her to download the same package that was installed, and extract the files on the local computer, upload the files manually to the forum folder ( if promped to overwrite, do so )

Then add in the TP code again manually to the SMF files. Again, must be the doc that are made for the version used.

Hi.

I made it myself. I used TP 1.0.6 as I THINK this was the one used. Nevertheless, I cannot be sure.

So, I followed the guide step-by-ste), and uploaded and replaced the fresh package. Now, there is this error:

Again, the whole forum works (as fas as I tested), but the main page still returns this error. I think that the version is not correct. It seems a text string is missing and that should not happen, as all files are uploaded and I cannot find this string anywhere...

You must have missed something, or some other mod perhaps ? poll mod ?

Then all i can say is for you to go through everything again regarding the manual install of tp.
