You can set your site to go directly to the forum and turn off your blocks... check to see if that gives the result you need.

Turn off panels, not blocks  ;)

I turned off all the blocks and panels but the main page still shows.  I still have home and foum link.  Not just home link as if uninstalled.  So no good.  There should be just a simple option to turn tiny portal on or off.

You forgot the first part ken said, you check the catobx where it say, "Go directly to forum" in your frontpage settings.

I still believe if you have it go directly to your forums that the Home and Forum buttons/tabs will still exist. If you want to ensure it is not visible, only way I know of is to uninstall or edit your themes index.template.php and remove the Home or Forum button and then edit it's destination if required.

It actually removes the button on the SMF Default theme Renegd98... the same may not be true for custom themes of course.

Did a test run on my test forum and the 'Forum' button was turned off.

Sorry I missed that.  In 1.1.18 at least it works.  Admin, tiny portal settings, front page.  Go directly to forum.  Then Home, Help ect.  No forums link.  If I don't don't go directly to the forum then it comes back.  So that accomplishes the idea.  Now I can test anything I want and then go back to tiny portal when I'm ready.  I can see it both ways with and without.
