Good Morning
I have a width problem, I have made this ad of mine as an article and as a html+BBC block but no matter what I do I canot get this ad to stop doubling in size.
Here is the picture
Can someone tell me how to adjust the size, I have TinyPortal v.1.0.6 beta 2 and have messed with the pixel sizes but it seems to make no difference.
can someone please help me.
Thanks

If you could give us a link to your site, it would help. I'm often able to figure out why something is happening when I can look at the page source.
AWWWWW, I meant to do that, I''m sorry

If you need a admin password to play around let me know and I will set you up
It is more than likely the code that you are using in the block. Can you post the code?
On Firefox, I'm getting something completely different. My guess is that it has something to do with the tables.
sugestions, or do you want me to set you up with a temp admin password? I have been trying different things for hours now and can not figure it out
The first thing I would suggest is to set your theme to the SMF default and see if that helps. It could be something in your theme that's causing the problem. Also, turn off that block and see what happens. Does another block start to have problems?
What kind of block is it? A scriptblock? A bbc block? Posting the code would be a good idea to see just what you have in there.
It would take quite a bit of working in order to track this down. I don't think admin access will help.
OK< I put a sitemap, userbox, and searchbox on and turned off the html ad. The blocks are the right size but it still overlaps in firefox, but it does not overlap in IE, do I need to go to bloc about this?
did you try it in the default template like JPDeni suggested?
Could you post our stylesheet? I'm wondering why there is a constant horizontal scrollbar when I look at it in IE no matter how large I make the screen (and I'm on a 20in monitor) and I think it might be associated with Table_01. It might be completely unrelated to the problem you're having, though. It's just a hunch.
nevermind. I found the download for the theme.
I may be missing something here but I don't even see the left and right panel turned on in your site at this time.
If you will do as JPDeni asks, it will help us to help you.

so after switching to several different themes including the SMF default XD-Zeda was the only one that had a actual theme box, and firefox was the only browser that it showed up overlapping, internet explorer showed all common boxes fine but all boxes that I created (html+BBC, or articles all showed twice the size on IE and Firefox)
I don't know what you mean by "only one that had a actual theme box"
Go to Admin --> Themes and Layout, and set your Overall forum default to "SMF Default Theme" and click save. go back to you front page and see if the blocks are still messed up. If they aren't then this is probably a theme issue. Come back and report to us the result.
In the meantime, I will send a message to somebody who may be able to help on this. Please be patient.

BGcntry, the last time I looked at your site it was fine.
Did you try the default theme to see if the problem is site wide or just the theme?
pls post the code you are using in your block.
the problem seems to be theme based, and all the TP blocks look bad on any explorer except IE.......firefox is the worst
If it looks OK with the SMF default theme, then it is indeed a theme problem and you need to go back to where you got the theme to seek help on this. I tried to look at your site with the SMF default theme but apparently you have turned off the ability for Guests to be able to change themes, so I can't even look at it.
