Title: Question About SMTP server.

Which one do you use, because I have one that doesn't require authentication so It doesn't allow relaying and I can only send mail to myself. Do you have a valid SMTP server that supports relaying that I can use

I use the one my ISP supplies. It cant be used from outside.

Ive tried to install it on my forum but ti doesnt work! Ive tried everything!

Actually, I don't get sent replies from you anyway, so I guess you're having trouble sending mail as well, If you run the server you could run a smtp server in the background and put localhost as the smtp server. That's the problem I have, I am not running the server that hosts my forum

I think we are not talking about the same here....

- you dont get sent notifications of replies from Bloc Zone? That should work fine, I get mine all the time. Perhaps check you settings in your profile?

- I use a paid host, so no, the smtp-server is not something i have control over.  Mail sent over the smtp-server works fine though - I have sent all members announcements with no problem.
