Post by: Init on January 01, 2009, 09:01:06 PM
I install Tiny Portall without error, from SMF Packager install , all ok, the installation finish with "reload the forum to refresh the new settings..." but i can´t see Tiny Portal..the portal no load, i can´t see buttons, configuration or anything about tinyportal in admin panel ...

What´s the problem with this?..missing something?... i don´t understand why a fresh and clear install of Tinyportal don´t work...

Tiny Portal version 0.9.8
SMF: 1.1.7
Ubuntu Hardy 8.04

no modification, no themes, all fresh install

Most likely a permissions issue on your server. Whether it be the folders/files themselves or the actual configuration of PHP is hard to say. Did you chmod everything 777 for the install?

i set 777 chmod for all the files..and makedir a "temp" folder inside Packages..if "temp" folder is missing, TP don´t continue installation and stop with an error ¿?, but of course, all chmod 777, makedir temp folder..install ok but TP is missing :(

Then probably a PHP configuration limitation that you're server/host has in place. You should continue with the manual install then. :)

i try for two times the manual installation, step by step, check for two times every single line of code, compared with original manual ( http://www.tinyportal.net/index.php?topic=14195 ) ... when enter to my forum, an error :

"Template Parse Error!
It seems something has gone sour on the forum with the template system. This problem should only be temporary, so please come back later and try again. If you continue to see this message, please contact the administrator.

You can also try refreshing this page."

i'll go crazy¡¡, how can fix this?
