Title: Iframe in a block with articles
Post by: domeen on December 29, 2008, 01:51:36 PM
Link to my site: http://www.ffnixen.nl (NSFW)
SMF version: 1.1.7
TP version: 0.9.8
Theme name and version: Custom
Mods installed: none
Related Error messages: none

WARNING  NUDITY AND PORN

I want to create a block wich shows the content of all the articles in 1 category.

I wanted to use a iframe, but that isn't possible because I don't have a file wich I can embed..

NSFW: If you click on the following link, you can see you get all the articles of 1 category...

http://www.ffnixen.nl/index.php?cat=4143

And this won't work..

<iframe src="http://www.ffnixen.nl/index.php?cat=4143" width="80%" height="100%"> </iframe>

Why not use the build in Menu block function to show article categories ?

To do that you'd have to use some custom code to make it work. Either using Ajax or some php to call the info from the TPortal.php etc. Can't look at your site while I'm here at work or I might have a better idea.

That wasn't there when I first looked at this topic. There was a link to his article category, which came up as a blank page, so I deleted everything after the ? so I could see the site. There was no warning at all then.

hello, please stay ontopic.. I put a warning NSFW in my first post...

That's strange, that you got a blank page... more visitors has the same problem..if you press F5, the page will load perfectly....  any idea?

Has somebody got a good code for me?

Well, you are certainly in charge here, domeen, so we'll follow your rules.

IchBin will likely write code for you. I don't write code for NSFW sites.
