hello eveyrone help me please!

i am trying to install this tiny portal and when i click install mod a ftp thing comes

i fill it all out then i get a error!

Hi omgimapple, welcome to TinyPortal.

That looks like a file permissions issue.
And, from the looks of your screen shot you are using some theme other than the SMF default for your install.

ok i have changed the theme back but is there anyway i can do it without doing it manualy?

You can try the SMF package manager for the install as mentioned in the Doc instruction.
If that gives you the error that you reported it means that you must change the file permissions to the correct settings. (777 or 755 depending on your server and which one works)

If you are unable to get it to change or set the file permissions from your FTP client, cPanel or whatever CP you have available then its an issue with your host server and you must get them to set the permissions for you or give you 'ownership' of the files so that you can do it yourself.

If you are unable to get past all of that then yes, a manual install is your next step.
... imho you should do the manual install if you've not done one before because its a great learning experience for running your forum and its easy to do, just take your time and follow the directions.

For the session error, you should check in the SMF support board. They have a sticky about that problem, and how to fix it over there.
