i installed tiny portal 1.0.5 and i have SMF 1.1.7.i installed shoutbox module on it.it shows shoutbox on front page.but i cant write anything on it.help please..

We need more info to help, what is your site's url? DO you have a test account one could sign in with to see the difference between a guest view and member view?

Would luv to help - but your forum does not allow guests to see the shoutbox, either change it's permissions or make a test account and post the username and password here for people to use to check it. ;)

Nevermind, I looked around your site, and using the theme changer I have seen your shoutbox is NOT one of the TP shout boxes but a MOD you downloaded and installed from SMF, to fix it to work in other themes besides the Default you will have to modify the index.template of ALL the other themes. Also as it is a SMF shout box MOD I would assume you would have to go there to get the help modifying the themes, I assume. :o

Well the only shoutbox I have seen that has itself in a block above the page like thatis in the SMF download section, I don't recall any like that in TP ever, maybe one of the MODs knows?? :o
GIMWD, please don't double (and triple) post for just one issue.
G6 gave you the proper response in one of your topics.
And... we only support TinyPortal and TP related products here, for some other software you must contact the person who wrote it for support.
