Hi, my problem is....i had SMF 1.1.6 and TP 1.05 installed, i have upgraded SMF 1.1.6 to 1.1.7, manually, and TP has dissapeared :o
I have backed up the 1.1.6 SMF files i had to edit to install TP manually, the question is....to install TP now....i have to edit the new 1.1.7 SMF files to include TP code or is it possible to upload the old 1.1.6 SMF Files already edited including TP code?

when you upgrade manually,l you will have to reinstall all mods again through the package manager
The package manager don't works for me, so i assume i have to edit again all the new 1.1.7 Files manually, thanks ;)

Small updates, as going up a subversion from 1.1.6 to 1.1.7, is better to be done from SMF's admin panel with small patches. Mods, TP included, are not usually affected.
In your case lobodem2r, you are probably in a host that runs PHP in safe mod. Try to contact them and ask if this can be changed. It will save you a lot of time and effort.
If this can't be changed and you can't use the Package Manager do rather the subversion update manually than upgrading and reinstalling TP and other mods manually.
Update patches are downloaded with package manager but also can be found in the SMF subversion announcement topic as attachments, i.e. SMF 1.1.7 Released (http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=272861.0).
If you have a growing site you might also consider moving to another host, where you can use the packet manager.
