Title: Install Problem with TP_098
Post by: tiffany on November 12, 2008, 06:01:59 AM
Hi,

I've tried installing SMF and TP_098 zips 3 times and each time I uninstall/reinstall, I always seem to have errors with the Load.php and index.template.php files from the Sources folder.

When I run a check/fix errors from the Admin area, I get no errors.  I don't know what to do.  I've been on vacation for 5 days hoping to take care of this myself easily and have 2 days to play with it, but haven't had a chance yet.  Something always goes wrong.

Even with the manual zip and the english zip downloads, I get the same errors that either I don't have the right version or my files are corrupted.

I'm not complaining...I'm disappointed in myself because I thought I could do this successfully but am so tired of trying.  My "Forum" button doesn't animate like the other TP menu buttons either.

Maybe I can attach some files so you can see the problem better.  I know you must be a really great person and probably think I'm nuts.  But truly, I just REALLY, REALLY WANT it to work!

My website is http://greggshorthandgroups.com .  Please take a look see if you get a chance.

I start back to work tomorrow and can't play with SMF and TP until sometime this Saturday or Sunday.  What a disappointment...I guess I tried too hard!

Thanks for anything you can do.  Going now...it's late and unfortunately, I rise at 3am to return for work.

Tiffany

P.S.  When I do a forum error check, all is good; no errors reported.

Your second image seem to have something to do with the forum boards and not tp, so for that part, you need to ask on SMF tohelp you.

For the forum button not animate the same way as the others is quite easy, you have to check the code in the index.template.php file so the TP code got added correctly during the install.
This guide show you what code needs to be added to the files, all you have to do is check so you have the code and if not, add it manually to your index.template.php file in the default SMF Core theme directory
