Hello,
I run a tiny site, http://usafa80.org/SMF/index.php (http://usafa80.org/SMF/index.php) that supports our school class. I did have TinyPortal (don't remember which version) installed and running fine on the site, but when I logged in today, it seems to have disappeared. The portal links on the left side of the main page are no longer there, and there seems to be no configuration link on the Admin page. I had made no changes to the site in quite awhile.
I was running TP on SMF 1.1.5. I saw that SMF had upgraded to 1.1.6, so I upgraded the site to 1.1.6. In the Admin Packages section, TinyPortal 1.052 and 0.9.8 are listed under Browse Packages, along with [Apply Mod], [list Files], and [Delete] links. I tried [Apply Mod], and the initial extract and testing was all successful, but then when I clicked Install, I got a server error, and the site did not change when I reloaded the page. Here is the error message:
+++
Database Error: Lost connection to MySQL server during query
File: /home/content/s/t/r/strive2excel/html/SMF/Sources/Subs-Package.php
Line: 2008
+++
When I go to the Installed Packages tab of the Admin Packages page, no version of TP is listed.
Any suggestions? Thanks.

Did you upgrade when theis happend, or havent you done anything ? You seem to have troubble making up your mind on that part ;)
Anyway, follow these 2 links, and check so everything is in place and offcouse with no other theme set as forum default them SMF Core ( original blue theme )
How do I manually install TinyPortal (http://docs.tinyportal.co.uk/index.php?topic=29)
Modification Instructions (http://docs.tinyportal.co.uk/index.php?topic=140)
Thanks for the quick reply. I had not made any changes when I noticed TP was missing. I went to the Admin page and saw the notice that 1.1.6 was available, so I then applied that upgrade, AFTER I had noticed that TP was missing. Sorry for the confusion. I'll try the manual install and let you know how it goes.
