Never heard of sphinx. You have a link to the site for that software? While it may be possible to move to TP, we don't have any conversion scripts that will move your stuff for you. Everything in your site that you want moved over, will need to be moved manually unless you know how to write a script to do it for you.

My quick tutorial, but I aint no expert like Ich and the rest

1.  Uninstall Sphinx, usually go to the admin panel and uninstall
2.  Download TP (http://www.tinyportal.net/index.php/action,tpmod/dl,item1000.html)
3.  Install TP, if lots of mods installed then either manual install or follow the install tutorials (http://docs.tinyportal.co.uk/index.php?board=16.0;sort=subject)

Good Luck

my personal opinion

which doesn't matter much is...

ask SPHINX how to uninstall their software then come back here and get results....but no one here is capable of handling an alternative CMS without previous knowledge

No offense, but I am interested in a bunch of CMS seeing the ins and outs but most here have no experience in uninstalling those CMS let alone using them, but if you get support on leaving their CMS that would be most successful for the transition due to the wide variety of software becoming compatible with SMF, it definitelty has become exhausting to the TinyPortal team

in fact what you said is 100% correct

but ...  i have my intern reason to not ask them ^^ about uninstalling their product

As Anubis said, we cant do this for you, you have to eather do it your self, or ask the people that support the software you use.
You personal reasons for not asking them for help is nothing we can help here, you have to ask them or try and get hold of some one that knows that CMS to help you.

We are sorry to see that sometimes members of this community come to us for help with removing TP from their sites cause they didnt like it, or found another thing they want to try, but we still help them the best way they can as thats what we do, and your CMS people should do the same for you IMHO
