Just curious if this is possible. Sure im just missing something in sql or what not.
Would like to Go from 1.0.5 and reload fresh tp0.9.8
What I have: SMF 1.1.6 with TP 1.0.5 on my site.
What I have done: Uninstalled TP 1.0.5 and deleted all tp files via FTP. Reloaded with 0.9.8 install but got a database table error. Couldnt do anything on the site. Would show the error instead no matter what i clicked so i back clicked and reloaded TP 1.0.5.
Leads me to assume, i have to also delete something via the SQL as well?
Just thought i'd ask here. I did search for "go back to 0.9.8 and revert to 0.9.8" but did not find anything that would answer my scenario.
Thanks.
John
You'll probably need to drop the TinyPortal tables from your database. Your host should have a tool for you to do this. Usually its phpMyAdmin. You just check the tables that have tp_ in the name, and then drop them. Make sure to make a backup of your DB before you do anything just incase you make a mistake doing the drop on the tables. :)
sounds easy enough. see attached. those are the only tp tables i see in the database. right ones right.
All except the first and last in that list.
Just the tables with TP in the name are the ones you have to remove
Thank You.
Okay,
I unistalled all mods.
Uninstalled TP 1.0.5
Deleted all TP files via FTP
Deleeted all tables of TP via mysql
Still get this error when i try to then load TP0.9.8
The package you are trying to download or install is either corrupt or not compatible with this version of SMF.
edit...
didnt realize bloc had a new upload for .0.9.8
so far so good.
Need help please. Its not displaying any blocs. No left, right, center, or front page blocks are showing. Only the default article that comes with tp0.9.8. All of them are set to green "on".
Check your theme settings if you are not using the default (which, you should be upon installing TP).
Chances are the install did not modify the necessary files to add the TP panels back into the theme files.
