Just wondering how I should go about removing the expand/collapse left/right blocks on the front page.
I also seem to have a problem with the expand/collapse buttons on block, they're not showing the right images before I click them.

In the TPBlockLayout.template.php file in your default theme directory. Remove this line:
echo '<div class="smalltext" style="float: right; margin: 10px 10px 0 0;">'. $context['TPortal']['upshrinkpanel'] . '</div><br style="height: 2px; clear: both;" />';
