What are your frontpage settings? There's a fundamental difference between the home and forum button for TinyPortal. The home button takes you to the TP frontpage depending on your settings. The forum button takes you to, the forum...

How about you take a look and see? I don't mean to be rude, but the frontpage settings are very clear. It will always be a frontpage unless you check the option to go to the forum.

I found out this problem is to do with being able to expand the header?
Im trying to have the blocks and articles on the portal home page only and not on the  forum  index?

Please read the Posting Guidelines.html (http://www.tinyportal.net/index.php/topic,581)

Let us know what versions you are running and what theme you are using as you try to setup your SMF/TP forum.
... some custom themes require that you add a button for 'Home'

You need to take some time to explore your Admin controls... lots of great stuff in there. ;)

Then perhaps you should say what you need in the first place lol.

In the first beta, in order to set the panel settings, you have to FIRST click the left or right blocks link, THEN click the panels link. In the panels section, you can turn off the panels for the forum. Then in your frontpage settings just make sure you have it set to articles, or articles and forum news etc. In your frontpage settings you also have the option to turn off the panel, but of course you'll want to set it to on.

You're right its not helpful. It wasn't meant to be helpful. I was hoping that maybe it would get you to think about what you actually want to accomplish. Otherwise, it makes it really hard for us to help you if you can't explain what you want. Have a good one.
