I understand that this does happen but it's only the TinyPortal modification that's causing that to happen.

Did you try the search according to one point in the postingguide ?

Try and use the search term "Database Error: MySQL server has gone away" and you will have the answers we can give you  :up:

I tried to install with a different browser like someone else with my problem did, once again, no luck.

It's not browser related, it's permission and settings issues on the server.
A search will lead you to several answers with tips on how to go by the install anyway, and if they dont work, you have to contact your host and ask them to help you.
