Attached to this post is the updated package for TP 0.9.8 that works with all SMF 1.1.x versions.

If you have updated SMF through the package manager and do not have an uninstall link anymore, you simply need to upload this package and replace the one in your packages directory. That will fix the uninstall issue.

This post will only be here until we are able to update the package in the downloads section.

Hi IchBin,

First of all, thank you for your help.

I upgraded my smf forum to 1.1.6 and, as i found problems with TinyPortal v.98, I used the package you provided us through this forum, and... it worked!!

My forum in production is smf 1.1.4 and i would like to upgrade it to 1.1.6 as soon as a stable TinyPortal version solves the compability problems with smf 1.1.6. The policy of our forum does not let us to use beta versions.

Do you have an idea of how long will it take?

Which version do you consider risker, your package 0.983 beta or 1.0.5 beta?

Both versions are beta products and will stay beta for quite some time still.

The TP V098 is the most "stable" allthough it have a few small glitches , but TP V1.0.5 still have quite a lot of work before it will be "stable" enough

So to answer your question, TP V098 if you want to have an almost error free portal, and time to any stable release is impossible to say, but far off it is.

Then, we will consider the possibility of upgrading to smf 1.1.6 using the beta package TP v.098 provided by IchBin.

Hooray! many thanks - TP is now installed and the articles and categories are also working.

Now I need to work out how to get my left and right hand blocks to display again.. they are showing as ON, but are not displaying at all...

Hi, I followed the instuctions, and I get the option to "Apply Mod", not to uninstall. There are no other modifications. Did I misread a step?
